I feel the need to vent about this. Recently, I began working on my new major art project -- and I am beginning to seriously regret the endeavor. The image in my mind is beutiful, and I know what the picture is supposed to look like; only problem is I don't know how to bring it to fruition, as it involves multiple elements that i rarely if ever touch on:

First issue: architecture. The piece involves a gazeebo, and while I am perfectly capable of drawing a cone with a cylinder on top, I can't incorporate roof tiles, railings, benches, and whatever other aesthetic details a gazeebo may involve, not to mention perspective.

Second: romance. Every time I manage to draw two or more people in close quarters, touching, I feel the need to cheer and perform a lengthy and well coreographed victory dance. Two people sitting close together in a sort of gentle embrace really shouldn't be this hard; and yet...

Third: landscape and botany -- I suppose they could be considered seperate categories, but as this is a garden scene I'm combining them. While my ability to draw plant life has definitely improved since this summer, it is by no means adequate, in my opinion at least, to depict a full scale garden.

And fourth: it's a night scene, so I'm starting to think that photoshop may be required in this instance -- sucks, as i fail at photoshop ever so very epicly =_=

Anywho, that's all. I'm not really looking for assistance, I just needed a good self depreciating vent about this piece and the lack of intelligence I'm displaying by taking it on. However, should anyone have any suggestions, I'm open
